The Spanish international wants Los Che to get a positive result in their UEFA Europa League semi-final first leg fixture against Atletico Madrid.
After being dumped out of UEFA Champions League, Unai Emery’s Valencia have found solitude in its uglier sibling, the UEFA Europa League.
Los Che find themselves in the semi-finals of the second tier club competition and travel to the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 Calderon to tackle Atletico Madrid for a place in the finals.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-Soldado-c31367 took out time to talk on the matter and claimed that Valencia will go out on the pitch to get a positive result in the away fixture.
He added that a draw will be a good result but will not affect the overall result, however, a win would virtually seal their place for the finals.
Continuing on the topic, he commented that the match being a semi-final of a European competition is enough to state its importance to both sides.
When quizzed whether the match will be a dull affair, he remarked that both Spanish outfits are ambitious and will come out on the pitch to get a positive result.
Soldado praised Atletico for their ability in the air and added that he wants to return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 with a secured result.
"A draw would be a good result, but not enough," he told the official press conference prior to the crash. "It's a semi-final. And that says it all. The team will come out to bite and get a result. We know that Atletico de Madrid is still very strong in
their field. Let's keep up this semi-final and secure we get a good result," the prolific hitman replied.
Valencia have high hopes for the Europa League campaign as it is the only remaining competition where the Mestalla-based outfit have chance of lifting silverware.
However, they have history against them as they were denied the opportunity to lift the title two years prior, falling at the hands of Atletico Madrid.
