This is a misleading question- yes, the answer is C in most instances.  However, due to the hazards presented by lead, many solder manufacturers have replaced lead with less toxic metals.  There are many "lead-free" solders these days that contain a variety of metals, from silver to selenium.  

    You should challenge your teacher that this is a poorly worded question, but answer C to be safe.
