Army: soldier suicide rate may set record again ...

Y news article explains how this war is causing our army kids to commit high numbers of suicide.

Is that the ONLY way they can get out of Bush's war? We all know McCain wants another 100+ yrs there in war time..

  1. Good idea .... We start uniting in the war by not calling it one person's war and start helping to lift troop morale by having a more patriotic leader that understands war first hand and actually salutes the flag.

  2. wow you republicans will lash out at anything and cover up the rest.

It is a fact on Yahoo front page, I just read it for myself.

Thanks for posting, because I didn't realize this.

  3. War is an awful event, and no one, no one wants to be involved in war.

That said, no one would want to be conquered nor enslaved by the fear of our enemies.

It is this conflict: a desire to not wage war, and a desire to not be conquered nor enslaved by our enemies, which has put some Americans at odds with each other.  Those who advocate the current war wish it to be over as quickly as possible, in victory.  Those who do not want usto withdraw in hopes of a diplomatic solution which will establish a peace.

It is with regret that we must all acknowledge that our enemy in the war on terror will not sue for peace.  Our enemy wants nothing less than our annihilation.  Our enemy considers us to be on the same level as a coackroach, and values our lives in the same manner.  Thus we cannot sue for peace.  We must engage in this war in order to protect and preserve civilization.

to that end we wage war, and to that end we continue.  We do not suffer the casualties of war, whether those casualties take place on the battlefield nor anywhere else.  We weep for those who die in combat.  We weep for those who die while training for combat.  We weep for those who die as a result of their wounds, both physical and emotional.  We weep for those whose psyches break beneath the strain of war, to the point that they take their own lives.  We weep for them, their loved ones, their friends.

Yet, we must pursue our enemy and wage war until it is won!  The history of civilzation across the world depends on our resolve to not let our enemy prevail.  That is the fight we have been given; that is the fight we must wage.

I am deeply saddened by the cost of war in terms of human suffering.  But I am not prepared to allow our enemy to exact a higher death toll if we should fail to win!

May God Bless America as we secure civilization for all humankind!

  4. That's a liberal bloggers manufactured claim that was shown to be false almost a year ago.  At least make sure what you post is up to date.

  5. Maybe the suicide rate is going up because they are afraid Obama will get into office and all their work up until now will be discarded
