Solid Premier to play firm in the D.H.S. Begley Peterborough Graders Derby – Heat 6
Solid Premier leads the contestants of the sixth heat of the D.H.S Begley Peterborough Graders Derby. The race will be staged at Peterborough over 420 metres flat on Wednesday, 20th June. Competing along side are Confident Martin, Monleek Sloopy,
Heavens Summer, Slippery Tigger and Mt Leinster Maid.
The prize money set for the winner is £98.
Her participation in a Grade A1 420 metres flat race on 13th January at Peterborough had her finishing as the 5/4 favourite runner up after racing for 25.79 seconds. It was won by Eye Catcher who timed the track distance in 25.63 seconds.
Her first success of the 2012 campaign surfaced on 17th February at Peterborough over 420 metres. The 9/4 favourite took 25.47 seconds to make it to the other end and led the field by 5 ¼ lengths.
Finishing the closest was Allmighty Jackie who took 25.89 seconds to conclude the race.
Next two racing disasters led to a training session on 5th April at Peterborough over 605 metres. Premier Fantasy’s three-year-old black and white daughter out of b***h, Solid Potential, accomplished the task in 40.61 seconds.
The training session was followed by three more missed out races but then finally on 19th May she composed herself and won the Grade A15 Posh Owners & Trainers Dual-Distance Competition – Heat 1 on 19th May at Peterborough over 420
metres.
The 4/5 favourite winner reached the other end of the wire in 25.47 seconds and led the track by three and a half lengths. Finishing the closest to the winner was Local Honda.
She was then successful in a Grade S2 605 metres flat race on 6th June at Peterborough over 605 metres. Solid Premier was done racing in 38.56 seconds and led the 6/4 favourite runner up, Nova Jess, by 2 ¾ lengths.
Her most recent try and win was in a Grade S1 605 metres flat race on 13th June at Peterborough. She clocked the track distance in 38.04 seconds and led the track by a length.
Finishing the closest was Surelines Answer.
Her chances of striking a hat trick today are quite concrete.
