Solo Performer to bag the Horseware Ireland On Facebook Race at Dundalk
A small field of 4 horses will be competing at Dundalk in the Horseware Ireland On Facebook Race on 17
February, 2012. These runners will be competing across a distance of 1 mile and 4 furlongs for purse money of €8,625.
The line-up consists of Solo Performer, Flavia Tatiana, Whipless, and Hairstyle.
Solo Performer finished fourth on 23 December, 2011 at Dundalk in the Free Admission On Friday 6th January Handicap, but he redeemed himself as 2012 began. The 7-year-old gelding defeated King’s Trial on 27 January, 2012 at Dundalk
in Follow Dundalk on Facebook Race.
Solo Performer’s trainer, H. Rogers and owner, Mrs. Margot McGuinness are hopeful that his performance will be just as grand in this race.
Flavia Tatiana will be going against Solo Performer yet again, the first time being at Dundalk on January 27, 2012. She finished 5th in that race.
Her trainer, A.P. O’Brien, is hoping that, Flavia Tatiana will race with the same fervour which she showed on 13 January, 2012. She secured the first place victory at Dundalk in www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap, beating Elizabeth Coffee and Joe Eile, who
was the race favourite.
Whipless’s performance level has not been up to the mark, as he has not secured a placed position in the last 6 races. The 4-year-old colt finished 10th
on 10 February, 2012 at Dundalk in Ice-Vibe.com Horseware Ireland Handicap.
His performance on 27 January was better, but still not up to the mark. He finished 5th in the same racecourse at Dundalk in www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap.
Hairstyle, the 4-year-old filly will make her debut this year in this event. Her performance last year was consistent, but not enough to win her a placed position. She finished 5th twice in her last two races.
Hairstyle competed in the Download The Blue Square App Maiden Fillies’ Stakes (Div II)   at Newbury on 9 June, 2011. Her next 5th place finish was at Kempton, in 32 For Slots Maiden Fillies Stakes on 22 August, 2011.
She has not competed since August last year. Her trainer, David Peter Nagle and owner, Lisbunny Syndicate, are hopeful that she will demonstrate her full potential in this event at Dundalk.
It is predicted that Solo Performer will lead the race. Flavia Tatiana lagged behind him in the last race. She is most likely to acquire a second place finish. Whipless and Hairstyle will be competing for third place.
