You are in luck....Cabo is a great place to meet new people.  I see lots of guys like you who are looking for a fun time.  I would guarantee there will be lots of new friends at the Fiesta - but you can also run into great groups of people at the nightclubs.  Go to Cabo Wabo, the giggling marlin, the zoo, and El Squid Roe any night of the week.  Buy a round of drinks for a tableful of girls, tell them your woeful story and watch what happens.
