  1. It's only interesting if you restrict x,y,z to positive integers, so...

    3,3,3

    or

    2,3,6.

    Edit: Oh right, there is another solution, isn't there?  Slipped by me, sneaky thing.

  3. 1/x + 1/y + 1/z = 1 , for your ease flip all the fractions before and after the = sign like that:

    x/1 + y/1 + z/1 = 1/1 or 1

    This tells us that x+y+z should equal to 1 so regarding the equation given in the question the answers are:

    x=3

    y=3

    z=3
