  1. - 6(2x-1)-2(5x+2)=0

    or, -12x+6-10x-4 = 0

    or, -22x+2=0

    or x = 1/11

  2. Why put in a dash then ? !!!!!!

    6(2x - 1) - 2(5x + 2) = 0

    12x - 6 - 10x - 4 = 0

    2x = 10

    x = 5

  3. =12x-6-10x-4 = 0

    2x-10=0

    2x = 10

    x = 10/2

    x = 5

  4. 6(2x - 1) - 2(5x + 2) = 0 (distributive property: x(a + b) = ax + bx)

    12x - 6 - 10x - 4 = 0 (combine like terms)

    2x - 10 = 0 (add 10 to both sides)

    2x = 10 (divide both sides by 2)

    x = 5 <===ANSWER

    EDIT: Since the line after solve is just a dash, then x = 5 is the correct answer.

  5. depends... is the line after "solve" a minus or just a dash?  Seems ppl have treated it as both.

    If it's a dash, the answer is 5

    if its a minus, the answer is 1/11

    Solutions for "just a dash"

    6(2x-1)-2(5x+2)=0

    12x-6-10x-4=0

    2x-10=0

    2x=10

    x=5

  6. -12x+6-10x-4=0

    -22x+2=0

    2=22x

    x=2/22

    x=1/11

  7. - 6(2x-1) - 2(5x+2 )= 0

    -12x + 6 - 10x - 4 = 0

    -22x + 2 = 0

    22x = 2

    x = 1/11
