  1. (x+1)/4=(2x-1)/3

    3x+3=8x-4

         -5x=-7

            x=7/5

  2. easy

    find common dennominator by multiplying 3x4.

    so x+1 over 4 becomes 3x+3 over 12

    and 2x-1 over 3 becomes 8x-4 over 12

    subtract 3x from both sides and add 4 to get

    7=5x both over 12

    u do the rest

  3. (x+1)/4 = (2x-1)/3

    3(x+1) = 4(2x-1)

    3x+3 = 8x-4

    5x=7

    x= 7/5

  4. x+1/4=2x-1/3

    3x+3=8x-4

    7=5x

    x=7/5

  5. (x+1)/4 = (2x-1)/3

    * 12              * 12

    3(x+1) = 4(2x-1)

    3x + 3 = 8x - 4

    -3x         -3x

    3 = 5x - 4

    +4      +4

    7 = 5x

    /5     /5

    x = 7/5

  6. Not only do you need to work on your math skills, but you need to work on people skills.

  7. X+1      2x-1

      4    =      3

    4(2x-1) = 3(x+1)

    8x-4 = 3x+3

    5x-4= 3

    5x=7

    x= (7/5)

  8. (x+1)/4  =  (2x-1)/3

    multiplying both sides by 4 we get

    x+1=(8x-4)/3

    multiplying both sides by 3 we get

    3x+3=8x-4

    subtracting 3x from both sides

    3=5x-4

    adding 4 to both sides

    7=5x

    dividing both sides by 5

    7/5=x
