  1. They're both of the type called a sum of cubes:

    x^3 + y^3 = (x + y)(x^2 - xy + y^2)

    y^6 + 27 = (y^2)^3 + 3^3

    3x + 81x^4 = 3x(1 + 27x^3) = 3x(1 + (3x)^3)

    You should be able to work them from there.  Learn the patterns!
