  1. 3x - 2y = 8

    -12x + 8y=32

    We will eliminate x

    That means that we will multiply the first equation by 4

    (3x-2y=8) * 4

    (12x - 8y = 64)

    Then we add

    12x  -8y  = 64

    -12x  +8y = 32

    When we add X and Y will be zero and that means that the equations have no answer

  2. 3x-2y+24=-12x+8y

    15x+24=10y

    y=(15x/10)+(24/10)

    15x+24=10((15x/10)+(24/10)

    15x+24=150x/10+(12/5)

    150x+240=150x+24

    um... i s***w up... woohoo 2 pts
