Solve the inequality and graph your solution on a number line? -5x+-3>2(3+x)?

I have been working on this one for hours... can anyone help me figure it out and EXPLAIN how you did it?

-5x+-3>2(3+x)

They gave me the answer...x<-5/11

it just doesn't make sense.
