    if x&lt;-7/2 , then |2x + 7| = - (2x + 7)

    =&gt; - (2x + 7) &lt;11

    =&gt; (2x + 7) &gt; - 11

    =&gt; x&gt; -9

    if x=-7/2 , then substituting x=-7/2  we get 0&lt;11 which is true

    so, x belongs to (-9, 2)


  2. |2x+7|&lt; 11

    2x+7=11 or 2x-7=-11

    2x=4 or 2x= -4

    x=2 or x=-2

  3. |2x + 7| &lt; 11

    -11&lt;2x + 7&lt; 11

    -18&lt;2x&lt; 4

    Answer:
