  1. You're kidding, right?

    Just plug them in:

    if f(x) = Ax

    then f(x+b) = A ( x+b )

    and f(x) / b = Ax/b

  2. I think your question is:

    limit as h -> 0 f(a+h)-f(a)/h

    In that cae the answer is 6.

    it is as follows:

    =6(a+h)-9-(6(a)-9)/h

    =6h/h

    =6

  3. f(x)=6x-9

    f(a+h) = 6(a+h)-9 = 6a +6h-9

    f(a) = 6a - 9

    f(a+h)-f(h)=6a + 6h - 9 - (6a - 9) = 6h

    so, (f(a+h)-f(h)0/h = 6
