no you can't just rearrange it, you have to get rid of one side, and make one side of the equation be =0. so to do that, you do the opposite. so for 7x you subtract 7x from both sides and add 2 from both sides. then you get x^2-10x+2=0. the equation is now in ax^2+bx+c=0 form. the quadratic formula is on the page below me, right under where its says quadratic formula. you just plug everything in double check
