  1. you need to orient and position the corners and edges.

  2. Have you tried Dan Brown's video on Youtube?

    I learned from his video.

  3. Hi!

I would suggest you to watch this video if you are a beginner!

Good Luck and hope this helps!

  4. So you have the first two layers completed.  The top color is done.

The next step is to ignore the center pieces, but look and see if there is a side that has 2 of the same corner pieces.

Look at the front of the rubik's cube and the top corners.  Are they the same color?  If not, check the next side.

Note:  If ALL the corners are in the right place, skip this step.

Put the side that has the same corner pieces in the back.  It's OK right now if none of them match.  Do this algorithm and you will have one that matches:

    Right forward

    Front Clockwise

    Right forward

    Back 2 times

    Right back

    Front Counter-Clockwise

    Right forward

    Back 2 times

    Right back

If you had no corners matching before, you should have one now.  Move that to the back and do that method again.

From here, you will have a few situations:

    1)  The cube is solved after you possibly turn the top a few times (great!)

    2)  All the corner pieces will match and there will be a completed side, where the corners and center piece match.

    3)  All the corners match, but none of the centers match.

If you have #2, line the completed side up with the correct color and move it to the back.

If you have #3, line a center piece up, then turn the top one time so it's no longer lined up, but next to where it should be lined up.

    Then do this:

    --Turn the front 2 times.

--Turn the top towards the color of the bottom center piece.  So if the bottom center piece is red, turn the top towards red.

    --Right Forward

    --Left Forward

    --Front two times

    --Right Back

    --Left Back

--Turn the top to the same way you did in step 2.

    --Front 2 times.

If you had a situation where you had no center pieces matching, you should have one matching now.  Turn that to the back and do what is written above one more time.

Your cube should now be complete.
