  1. a = (d + c)/b

    d + c = ab

    d = ab - c

    Answer: 1. d = ab - c

  2. it is number 1.....because it is like

    a=d+c/b

    ab=d+c/b times b   times both sides by b

    ab=d+c

    ab-c=b+c-c         subtract c from each side

    ab-c=b

    you can switch it around of course....d=ab-c......easy stuff once you understand it

  3. a = (d + c)/b

    ab = d + c

    d = ab - c

    (answer number 1)
