waht are some ways of solving poverty besides donating clothes food banks volunteering to build homes and charities

That is a problem that has been around for at least 2000 years (and more) without being solved yet.  As the Bible says, "The poor you will always have  with you".  And I am beginning to believe this is true, don't you?  We can't win the "war on poverty", but all we can do is to help educate those who have ambition so that they may get good jobs, but all we can do for the others is what we have been doing, and that is to donate food, clothing, etc and hope for the best.  God bless, and happy trails.

teaching skills such a budgeting, teaching foods cooking to stretch in a family. seeing how one became poor can also solve how to reverse the effects. your question is exactly why i do what i do. money and materials do not always salve the problem. a college education is not always an option. seeing what the person in poverty is good at and helping that skill or gift grow to help themselves.
