Soma & darvoset????

mu husband pulled a muscle really bad and the doctor perscribed him theses two together. he took one of each at the same time like the doc. said and just now he went to the bathroom and there was blood when he pooped. is this bad? and is it just because the pills?

I used to be a pharm tech for over 4 years.  If I remember correct, neither pill has anything to do with the results of his BM.  

Visible blood in the stool comes from straining, resulting in active hemorrhoids or polyps near the a**s.  (I also used to work as a Medical Assistant for a internest specialist group.)

I don't think the pills caused the blood in his stool.  That's a very serious thing, he needs to get that checked...now

From my understanding that is not a typical side effect of either one of these medications.

Here is a website below if you are interested in learning about the medications he is on. Also, the pharmacy should have included a leaflet with his medicine. Have him get checked by a doctor for gastrointestinal issues because of the bleeding.
