Somdev Devvarman wants to win Davis Cup for India
The 35-year-old Somdev Devvarman said on Monday that his dream is to win Davis Cup title for India.
"India has entered in the World Group of tennis. My dream is to bring the Davis Cup title for my country. The future of Tripura's sports is bright as hundreds of talented players are coming up. My parents' all out support helped
me a lot to became a tennis player,” said the world number 106 Somdev during a felicitation organised by the Tripura government.
The professional tennis ace from India who made his debut on the ATP tour back in 2008 picked up two gold medals at this year’s sixteenth edition of the Asian Games last month as well as a record breaking gold medal in the multi
discipline Commonwealth Games back in October.
The Assam born, who belongs to a royal family in India, came to Agartala two days back after thirty days of training in the United States of America.

While commenting on his love for tennis, Somdev said that he is passionate about the game of tennis and feels an honour to represent India at the sport's highest level.
