Some Breaking Dawn questions?

Question

Why was Alice seeing things that weren't planned and weren't the result of a decision? Like the weather and changes in the stock market.

Also, Bella assumed that Alice left because she'd seen the Vulturi defeat them in the future. But isn't Alice only meant to see the outcome of decisions, and so how could she have seen the outcome of the fight when at that point not all of the plans had been made?

And, Kate's talent was to run a current over her skin and shock people, so why didn't it effect Bella? Wasn't Bella's shield only against anything in the mind?

Then there was Alec's "mist". I know his talent influenced the mind and wasn't a physical attack, so how would you possibly be able to SEE it? And if it was something physically there, Bella's shield shouldn't have been effective against it.

Here's another one, where did the Cullen's get all their money?? There's no way Carlisle earned it in the 100 or so years he's been working. His salary just would not be THAT great, he only works in a hospital..

Answers to any of that would be appreciated! =D

Like someone else said; Alice can see the future and is unsure of things that can be changed by a decision. Somethings just are and can't be changed. Alice didn't leave because the Vulturi were going to defeat them she left because she had to find the 1/2 vampire 1/2 human so that she could prove Nessie wasn't a threat.

It was a game of the mind for Kate. She created the illusion that she was shocking people.

She was shielding the mind so any attack on it couldn't be carried out even if it was the mist.

Doctors make good money. They have invested some of that money in the Stock Market. Also, like someone else said they don't have human expenses so that saves a lot of money. There are humans that live like they do so this shouldn't suprise you.

alice's gift has always confused me. I dont really have any answers but I understand what u mean. Kate should have afected bella, and how did Nessy show bella her mind pictures? Isn't she suppose to be blocked againts that?  So many questions....

but when we talk about money. DOCTORS DO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY.

and of they invested n stocks, u can become a millionaire!!!

i know a few families that are millionaires by investing.

She sees the things of the future.  The only things that are not for sure are ones that are decisions, which can be changed.  The weather cannot be changed due to a decision. She didn't know the outcome, which is why she acted as she did.  Again, things change, so she doesn't always know an outcome, she just knew they were coming, a lot of them.  

Many of the talents, including Kate's, affect your body through your mind, like Jane & Alec's.  

I don't think they actually "saw" it, but since they are vampires, they tune into things, such as waves in the air.  They saw it coming, but her shield went beyond them, therefore the waves couldn't enter.  

They don't have to buy food?  or have medical expenses?  I guess they save a lot of money on human things.  Over that amount of time, I'm sure you could acquire a lot of money, both through careers and other ways.  It said that they owned homes many different places, and even an island (Esme's Isle)  That is a good question though...

Well Carlisle is a Doctor and Doctor's have big salary so yeah!!!
