1) ano gakkou ha rippa de hoterunoyou desu.
I just wanna know the function of de here. thanks.
2) Yamadasan ha ryokou ni iku youna kakkou wo shite imasu.
What's kakkou o shite? Is kakkou 格好?
3) Kodomo demo yomeru you ni, muzukashii kanji ha tsukawanaide, tegami wo kaite kudasai.
What's the function of demo here? Please give me the trans of this sentence for better understanding of demo. Thanks.

5) futoranai you ni, amai mono ha tabenai you ni shite imasu.
What's the meaning of the second you ni? What's its function?
6) kakko ni, [tame] ka [you] wo kakinasai.
Why is it just one ka? By right should it be "kakko ni, tame ka you ka wo kakinasai." or sth along that line? What I learnt was, for eg "anata ha amaimono ga hoshii desu ka, karaimono ga hoshii desu ka?"
7) kuruma demo, koko kara eki made 30 pun dewa ikemasen.
Does it mean "Even if you travel by car, you can't get there in 30 minutes"?
8) Going/Planning to do sth in Japanese is eg "ikou/tabeyou to omoimasu"
When it is in the third person we must use "to omotte iru" with "sou desu" or "rashii desu" or "no desu".
Why must it be "to omotte iru" not "to omou"?
What is the function of "no desu" here? Is it like "sou" and "rashii"?
Thanks!!
