  1. You can not just join a knight's order;you must earn a nomination and the honor.

    http://www.royal.gov/uk/output/Page4874....

    lists details about each order:

Order of the Garter,Order of the Thistle,Order of St. Patrick,Order of Merit,Companions of Honor,Order of the Bath,Order of St. Micchael and St. George,Royal Victorian Order, amd Order of the British Empire.

  2. Well, you don't "join" a knighthood - you have to be appointed to it.

The freemasons are still around if you can put up with their rigid rules.

The Knights Templar still exist as well - I suspect that their rules are even more restrictive.

Ot you can do something that leads Queen Elizabeth or the King of Saudi Arabia to want to bestow a knighthood on you.

It'll have to be impressive - their standards are pretty high.

  3. most any freemason group if you can get in. knight of columbus lions club things of that sort. if you want an actual order of knighthood as in liek the order of the rose you have to be a knight of the realm and appointed to it by the monarch or at least inducted by the grand master. i know the order of the garter can only be joined by being knighted by the monarch and they make you a membe. of course you can wlays start your own but you wouldnt be offically recognized as knights.
