  1. Since physical therapy is a graduate program, you can major in anything you wish until you go to graduate school.  However, since there is a list of predetermined prerequisites, most students choose a major that encompasses those classes.  The prerequisites vary a little bit between schools, but usually involves at least a year of general biology, chemistry, physics, statistics, psych and anatomy and physiology.  Therefore, students often choose majors such as kinesiology or movement sciences...whatever their undergraduate school offers.  

    Choosing a top physical therapy is a little bit like splitting hairs.  They all go through an accredidation process.  

    I would recommend you start your process by looking at the list of schools that offer PT.  Then you can get an idea of what classes they require and other entrance requirements.
