Since RSS is used as a way to read/aggregate public content on the web, this feature is only available for groups with messages set to "public" (no membership required).

Your group's messages would have to be set to Public for RSS feeds. You can check to see if your Y! Group has an RSS Feed.  On the home page for your Group, look for the XML icon in the Most Recent Messages section.

If this icon doesn’t appear, there’s no RSS feed available for your group.

If the icon does appear on your home page, click it to go to the RSS information page. Then click on "add to My Yahoo!" to add the RSS feed to your "My Yahoo!" page.
