Some advice here please???

Question

I am in love with a friend of mine. We've been friends for 4yrs and we both shown each other signs of interest. We even almost kissed but I froze and he pulled away after several seconds. Anyway that was two years ago. He's back now from his mission and he'll be leaving again next year.

I want to tell him that if he ever wants to pursue me in the future when he gets back he can. I want to tell him he's special to me but I'll always be his friend no matter what. He's 28 and single, no girlfriend, never had one. I'm 23,

What should I do? I'm afraid if I wait he'll come back with someone else because maybe he thought I didn't want him. I also don't want to scare him off either.(It's really hard to push him away...I've said and done things that would make most guys run for the hills but he stayed by my side).

What would you do if you were me?

Go for it. He wanted you 2 years ago...see if he still has those feelings...talk to him tell him how you feel...and I always felt if it was meant to be it will be...

as a girl from a christian family i think i can help.

just say that you really missed him and you LOVED the time you spent together so you want to continue to be friends and develop your relationship. if you use the right kind of body language he will figure out that you have feelings for him and by body language i mean stand close and keep eye contact because you can say alot through the eyes.

if he is in town for a while then maybe keep hinting and when he starts to get the picture give him a hug and a small kiss
