  1. calculator.

-0.5 raised to the 19th power. use the y^x button on the scientific and the ^ button on the graphing. then multiply by -60.

  2. (-60)[(-1/2)(-1/2)(-1/2)(-1/2)(-1/2)(-1/...

    =(-60)(-1/524288)

    =60/524288

    =30/262144

    =15/131072

you see, (-1/2^19) means you multiply -1/2 nineteen times. so the answer is -1/524288. and the parentheses is another way to say multiplication so it's like -60 x -1/524288. Then, you cancel the negative signs because we all know that negative multiplied by a negative is a positive. then all that's left is to multiply and simplify.

  3. (-60)(-1/2^19)= -60*(-1/2*-1/2*-1/2... for 19 times, right?)

    (-60)(-1/5242880)=

    15/131072

Get a calculator and do the math.

  4. -60*-(1/2^19)

    -60*-1/524288

    -s cancel

    60/524288

    0.00011444

  5. I think its 0.000114440918
