  1. The "radical Feminists" represent the majority of Feminists.

  2. Like the word 'feminist' alone, 'radical feminist' can cover a whole range of people and ideas. If the radical feminist is simply aiming for equality, then fine, if a radical feminist is aiming to improve areas of society for women to an extent that they are unfairly privileged over men as if it some well desrved pay back, then that is wrong and yes, they would be 'bad apples'.

  3. Feminism is the belief in promoting the advancement of only women in a society that is already giving more options and less responsibility to women only.

Feminism is the problem, not a few  outspoken and psychologically challenged of the whole because feminism does NOT promote equality in any form but promotes advances for women only.

It does not take a genius to decipher that  the aim of feminism is sexism of the highest order by looking at the fruits of its actions: no-fault divorce, abortion on demand, selective service, divorce and custody laws, (including child support) and that men are responsible for a pregnancy if and only if the mother decides he is, demanding that women be given the nice cushy jobs but not the dirty and dangerous ones, etc... the list is long.

This is not to say that some members on each end of the extreme are identical; those who know the inherent sexism of feminism and promote it because it is sexist and those who are sincere in their fallacious beliefs that women are somehow treated worse than men and children but the end result is that they both believe in and promote the sexism of the movement, some unintentionally, some purposefully.

  4. I think that is the case, yes.

The vast bulk of self-described feminists that I've met seem to have no problem cavorting with and getting along with my 6'2 caucasian male self.  Most feminists in my experience are more into the notion of making sure that they can progress in life like a man can, with the same potential for earning and opportunities... not making sure that men can't progress like they can; that's a common misnomer that a lot of ill-informed people like to espouse.

  5. I don't believe in all that "radical" feminism thing. Actually, I don't know what people think a feminist radical does...

  6. My understanding of feminism leads me to believe that there were / are some extremist, who embrace many idiotic notions about men, women, and equality.  Those are the ones I pay no attention to.  So yes, there are some radicals, but they do not express mainstream feminist viewpoints.

  7. It is impossible to have a large group of people without have a few extremist. Feminism follows the same Bell Curve most things do with a relatively few members on the extreme right or left. It is better to listen with an open mind before in goring those who might be a little unusual.  Issues such as Women's Suffrage or women working as Police Officers were once considered radical.
