Some b-tards smashed our mailbox, what can i do?

I only managed to catch the color and type of the car but i couldnt see the plate. A week ago my family had a comfrontation with some nasty neighbors, could they be the ones that did this? Like maybe gotten a friend or something to do it since we know what car they have?

Im only 15 but i know thats its pretty freaking immature to do something like this. I swear if i find out who did this ill break their jaws.

Don't get paranoid. Smashing mailboxes is a pretty common pastime for some morons. It isn't necessarily the same people. It's up to your parents. They can file a report which isn't likely to help yet, but may start a recorded history of events if similar things keep happening. Then if someone is caught doing something else malicious to your property, all of the damages could be pinned on them.

Let an adult call the police, then you should be prepared to describe what you saw.

Contact your Local Post Office, and file a complaint there are laws on the books that deal with the tampering or vandelism of mailboxes. also File a police report .

Don't break any body's jaw. Just hold on to the pretty little thought that they probably did more $$$ damage to their car than they did to your mailbox.

I doubt the nasty neighbors have such warm and caring friends to smash into your mailbox unless they stole a car to do it with.

If they are willing to proceed to Grand Theft Auto to take out your mailbox, then you do have some really nasty (and stupid)

neighbors. You don't need to do anything in that case.

Their own stupidity will do them in.

buy a new mailbox..and they probably wont do it again. its only a mailbox. they got back at you and unless you guys dont have a bad comfrontation with them again then they will back off.

Make the next mailbox out of pure concrete.  They will not be able to smash it and it will hurt if they try.  .

you can point fingers but you have no proof who did it.  my friend had someone throw purple paint all over the front their house while they were sleeping, they were sure it was the neighbor across the street but no proof so they installed a video camera to catch anyone doing something to their house and so far it's been 6 months and no more incidents.
