Some confusing questions that need answers.?

why is chicken called chicken but pig isnt pig its pork....why dont sheep shrink in the rain....why is the slowest part of the day called rush hour.....if blind people wear dark glasses why dont def people wear ear muffs..........these r the questions that haunt me....??

1.  Why is chicken called chicken?  Because they are the only creatures you eat before they are born and after they are dead.

2.  Why don't sheep shrink?  Because they are flesh and blood, not made out of wool. And wool only shrinks if it is woven tightly together into fabric. Sheep also secrete a substance, called lanolin, which covers the wool and makes it waterproof.

3.  Why is the slowest part of the day called rush hour?  Because at that time everybody is in a rush.  That's what causes the traffic jams .

4.  If blind people wear dark glasses why don't deaf people wear ear muffs?  Because a blind person's eyes are ugly, however, a deaf persons ears look normal!!!.
