Well, I have a Sprint phone and then today I heard my cell phone ring so I picked it up and said Hello? Helloooooo... and then the stranger hung up with out saying anything. And after 2 minutes I've been having text messages EVERY 1-5 MINUTES. (litterally) I don't want to pay alot of money and keep deleting it. The stranger ( i think it's a boy) keeps says things like "My name is...." ( he won't tell me his name) and then he said " I live in a house, I'm 23 almost 24 if you want to know about me" and then " awe come on, I'm not dangerous, this is **** ****, come on!! text meeeeee sweetheart!" And others and its really late right now. And that freak is still texting me. I mean, he's almost 24 and im almost 14!! ?!?!??!?! It's scaring me, I told my parents but they don't know what to do. How do I block this freak from like, calling/texting me EVER AGAIN. even if it means blocking all text messages and/or deleting all text messages that are sent to me!!

  1. Don't delete the texts!  You should have never done that!

Just turn off your phone for the night.  And whatever texts are on there (if any) you take the phone to the police.  They will do something about it.  No matter what, go to the police.  I don't mean like call 911.  Go to the police station with your parents and talk to them.  They will eventually get him.

Since he called you, they can track the number.  Between the time he called you.  They will find the numbers that called you between that time and find his location.  Most likely arrest the person.

But if you think it's one of your friends who got a new phone playing a trick on you, then you should still go anyway.

Also, I would think about getting a new phone number.  Safest thing you can do.

    Good Luck!

  2. Have your number changed. That is one call away. Is he like calling you from different numbers?

Have your number changed. It should be free.

I was trying to avoid someone earlier this year, and I changed my number like 3 times in 2 months, and it was free.

One thing you definitely want to do is let your parents in on this fiasco. I know that sometimes teens want to be independant, but this is the time to let people know what is happening, and make them aware of the situation.

It sounds like he lives in the neighborhood and is a 23 year-old loser who lives in his parent's house and plays Dungeons and Dragons all day.

  3. Well, it could be nothing but it could be some weirdo. The question you haven't asked is how did he get your phone number? It might be just some jerk that you know playing games but it might not be. You were right to tell your parents. Save all the messages and show them to the police. If it really IS a 24 year old guy, he has NO IDEA how much trouble he is in. You're not even 14? When they catch him (and if he called you, they will) his a.s.s. will get nailed to the wall.

Make sure you watch what you are doing when you go outside your house also. Better safe than sorry.

  4. Did he try asking them to stop? Also, can you see their phone number or is it blocked? If it isn't blocked than call them with your house phone and try to find out who it is.

  5. Contact the police and your mobile phone operator and ask them to block you from the creep.
