HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL PEOPLE?!... I'll stop yelling. Emo is not a genre of music. It is a stereotype that originated from how the fans of what used to be hardcore punk dressed, don't get it twisted. If you truly respect music like I do then you would at least do your research instead of making ignorant assumptions, and confusing stereotypes with genres of music. Gothic rock is a validated form of music, it's been around for decades now. I'll give you a link of bands down below from wikipedia...
