Some good Black Metal bands?

Question

ive heard a lot of Dimmu Borgir, Mercyful Fate, and some of Venoms stuff. Wondering if anyone knew some better bands, cuz mercyful fates songs get a little boring to me and Venom is ok, but i really like dimmu borgir

well.. Venom and Mercyful Fate ( among others ) are the first wave black metal bands.. so they are quite important :).. Dimmu Borgir.. what can i say.. amazing band.. my favorite .. try some old school black metal bands like : Mayhem , Bathroy , Darkthrone , Burzum or.. 1349 ( yes , it is a band.. a very awesome one too ) , Satyricon , Summoning , Abigor , Absu , Beherit , Belphegor , Behexen ,  Behemoth , Carpathian Forests and many many others.. here is a link for you with all the black metal bands :)    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bla...
