Hello,

I have been playing chess for a few weeks and not doing bad. But would like to get better so my question is what are some good books that will help me out?

I think i am pretty good at the opening part of the game but i stink at the middle part. that is where i can see where i lose my games. The end game i am so-so at it.

So what would be some good book(s) to read up on?

Thank you for any help.

  1. use this book :

    the complete IDIOTS guide to:

    CHESS

  2. I would reccomend a notationless book first.

I like "Chess Tutor" by Ault.

    http://www.amazon.com/chess-tutor-Elemen...

Read it and become a tactical genius.  Then worry about notation.
