i want to know what kind of things (specific food items, i know what types of food, but im having trouble with variety) i can eat durring swim season that have a good balence of carbs, protien, few fats, and vitamins. my coach wants me to eat a good breakfast, snak, lunch, snak again, dinner, and another snak in there somewhere. Trouble is thats alot of food to eat and i have no trouble acctually consuming that amount cuz i have a fast metabolism. but that i get sick of always having granola bars and...well, mostly granola bars

also, i have to carry most of this with me durring the school day because we have no lockers. i might beable to ask my coach if i can kep some food in her class. but who knows.

THANKS A TON!!!

  1. i feel your pain. i used to do the same thing in school. i would recommend carrying a cooler with some ice or something frozen in it to keep the items cold. cereal bars, any kind of fruit (especially bananas and grapes), some whole wheat bread with cream cheese on it and lodes of water. i used to drink about a gallon and a half a day. remember these are just snacks, not a full meal and your meals and snacks should be getting smaller as the day goes on.

  2. try peanut butter on whole wheat bread, with a half of a bananas cut up on top. Sprinkle a little brown suger on top if you are going to consume just before a workout. it should give you a little extra boost.

  3. Please dont eat. You might drown. I've read about these things. LISTEN!

  4. Alot of fruit.

  5. Special K cereal bars

  6. bannanas are great for you, lots of water, i used to enjoy bagels and cream cheese. any of the energy bars. hard bolied eggs(just the egg whites not the yolk)

  7. No meat, makes your body feel heavy.

eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies

    specially in the morning

you can also snack on those

become more familiar with your fruit and veggies,

experiment and carry some with you

whatever is more convenient for you

if you have a juicer use it

natural juices are better for you

    make smoothies

change it a little so you give your body what it needs

and you dont get tired of eating it

    make a vegetable broth

and drink it when ever you get thirsty or hungry

its another way to give your self what you need

also eat whole weat bread and find some thing to top it off

i like to eat eat with Trader Joes peanut butter as a snack

also take advantage of whole weat pastas rice and whole weat cereal

you may keep your energy bars

but try cutting down on them cuz

eating too much is also not to good for you
