Some good free online sites besides Craigs list?

Craigs list is fine, if what one sells is below $30.00! any others? a bit high end sites anyone know off? have also tried Adpost but not much traffic there- First to answer with good info will be chosen as best answer!! Thanks

Craig's List is still a good site for generating traffic but there are other similar sites that are starting to show results as well. One site in particular, http://hoobly.com, tends to show up very high in the SERPs and is great for traffic. Other sites I would recommend are http://kijiji.com and http://hotfrog.com. These are  free services. Another place you can list products and services for free is on Google Base, a property of Google that is also free. You can create your free account at http://base.google.com. It's always good practice to "cover your bases" so why not make use of all these services?

Theres http://www.sellit-right.com - its not youre typical you can actually earn there like others have signed up to do. You choose and they also allow other Biz advertsing - they're not picky like others. T& C apply though lol.

Hi,

There are many ways to market a small business on the web.  You can buy banner ads, text links, or use PPC.  However, the best way is to get listed in a bunch of portals. Portals and directories are like phone books, and they often provide a lot of traffic because they tend to rank high on Google.
