In fantasy sports it's all about the individual.Yet his team mates impact his success depending on how well they work as a unit.(More so in the NFL then MLB,and the NBA..Because football is the ultimate team sport.)

It depends on the sport, but we'll use basketball as an example since that is my sport.

A team basketball player will always look around at his teammates. His mentality should be focused on which teammate has the highest likelihood to score. He should make plays that center on giving the player with the highest likelihood of scoring a situation with the highest likelihood of success. That doesn't mean he won't try to score himself, but that he's looking to do what is best for the team.

If we were to talk specifics, team work involves communication and understanding. You have to understand what your teammates' comfort zones are, and you have to communicate with them about plays. There should be a constant flow of hand signals or words that indicate what you are going to do next. Trust is important too. You have to trust your teammates no matter how many times they fail.
