Some good stereo speakers?

I have a micro component system (Sony cmt-bx1), only 30 watts. It is incredible, though, because it seems like it is more powerful than it is.

However, my personal experience with it, along with reviews on it would say that the speakers don't quite do the system justice.

There is nothing really wrong with them, but I just want a better set, that is all.

My criteria for new speakers:

-at least 15 watts each

-$100 at most

-1.5' tall or so at max

-good shelf speakers

I would also prefer it if they were ones you have experienced yourself, or at least with good reviews.

Here's a pair of used Klipsch KG 1 speakers on eBay (buy it now) for $76, plus about $20 shipping. This is a great price. I got a pair of Klipsch KG 0.5s a couple years ago for $60 plus about $30 shipping. These puppies cost like $250 a pair new. And, they pack quite a punch for such a small bookshelf speaker.

If I needed a pair of great bookshelf speakers, I would snap these up in a minute.
