Some help and good suggestions?

want to make fan videos from my shows and movies I own. I want to burn it off the computer and edit scenes, manipulate it as many ways as I can, and do all sorts of stuff with it like slow motion and rewinding. What's the best software for this that'd you suggest? I buy on Amazon. I also want to be able to isolate audio(what someone said) from another scene and put it in a different scene. I also want to be able to add music to my video.
