  1. this is your concept make it the way you think it should look. you can be like max serious and fashionable or you can go strictly 'camp' and just go wild. how do you see yourself? the heck with the rest of us yahoo's

  2. My sister and I did this last year.  You need to get a pattern for a full circle skirt.  If you want the moulin rouge look , keep it at calf length , but if you'd rather not do too much sewing , knee length will be ok too.  You will have to make 2 skirts , one to go over the colourful petticoat , and the one for the petticoat.   On the top skirt , leave it very simple , with little embellishment.  On the second skirt , line the inside with alternating (or the same) layers of ruffled or wide pleated tulle (netting) and thick ribbons sewn closely together.  If you want to match , you can always sew or find a corset cover too.  Good Luck and Have fun!

** as for the stocking , you need frilliy dance shorts , a garter belt (a must have) and any pair of cuba thigh highs , or thigh highs that have a thick top to be hooked to a garter belt , try here          http://www.3wishes.com/stockings.asp

  3. So I think you should totally go with the Moulin rouge look...

I would get different colors of "fat ribbons" and sew them together with the white frilly stuff on the underneath.... It would be different but really cute.
