  1. I don't think it's a big deal, but it's probably a good idea to get it checked out anyway. You could probably wait until you go into the doctor for a physical, etc but if you're nervous just get it checked out, you'll feel better! Another option is seeing a dermatologist, especially if you have any other skin problems, kind of killing two birds with one stone. http://www.glamour.com/health/slideshows... That's a website that shows moles and which ones are skin cancer. You can look yourself to see if you should get it removed or not. And if it does look like a cancerous one - which would be rare- remember than skin cancer is 90% treatable if caught early, which yours should be.

  2. yea you should but you probably shouldnt be talking about your sisters b***s online. lol.

  3. It will be creppy, but go and get it checked out. At least you will be reliefed when you go out of the gabinet, knowing that you can simply laugh at it.

Maybe it's one of your bones? XD When I was little, I got freaked out about my ankle. I thought it was cancer, because I was 8 and I just got to know that bumps are cancers sometimes, and than I was scared about every sticking out bone on my body, including my fingers, ankles, once even nose! Rofl, I will never forget that!

  4. you should get it checked out just incase.

to stay on the safe side ;)

  5. definitely get that checked out.  early detection is the best way to prevent any serious potential problems.

  6. Depends on what it looks like. Cancers (and let's face it, that's what we're all worried about) don't often appear under the skin on the back - more usually, they would appear as darkened moles or large red 'sores', and be classed as skin cancers. Is it red or it just a lump? Cysts often appear all over the body as little lumps under the skin. They are just blocked glands that fill up with sebum. Unlike spots, they don't get infected but may keep growing if untreated (with steroids) or removed.

If you're worried, definately get it checked out but it would be very unlikely, in a chap of your age, to be anything to be concerned about.

  7. you're probably fine but i would go to the doctor incase it's actually something to worry about.

  8. I would get it checked out to be on the safe side!!

Im sure it nothing to worry about but what harm could goin to the doctors do? At least then it will put ur mind at rest!! :D

  9. ANY time you find an unusual growth, or even somehting >different< on you body, you need to have it checked out.  A young girl that I had the honor to work with in pediatrics last December had been admitted with 'abnormal growths in her throat', which turned out to be nothing more that polyps, it could have been much worse for that 8 year-ol girl.  Since your suster has had a similar experience  wit h a growth on her breast, it's probably that you bump is the same thing.  >However<, ALWAYS get checked by a doctor as soon as possible.  Medicine is an educated guess, but the yhave more education at guessing, so let them do their job, OK :))  Le us know what happens.
