Some keeps phoning and hanging up?

some one keeps phoning me on this number 02071485193 they keep hanging up when i ring back i phone my provider did not do much so can you all phone it and find out who it is my girl is scared she has ocd she is geting depressed please help

Sounds like a typical call center, they dont hang up as such, usually

they mass dial, leave you hanging on until an operator picks up.

I usually wait with these numbers, butt in to the sales patter and ask

them politely not to call it again, and then they shouldn't...

it is a mass calling from a call centre. When you pick up they know you are at home and then sell this information to cold calling operators for sales pitches.

Hung up, then when called back message in a canadian accent states that account balance is insufficient to make this connection.  Im on a landline, so dont have an account balance.

same as the rest....  contacted by this number over an hour ago now..  hung up befor  could answer and when i rang back  recorded message  sad  had nsufficient funds to make that call so I  promptly hung up........  what worried me is that this might be a way of locking into cirdless  phones...... and gaining information via that to your pc  and then bank details etc.......

Ignore black hat 100 you can not be cahrged for recieving a call. The maximum you can be charged for MAKING a call is £1.50 a mintue (09 numbers) on a landine

let the phone ring - dont answer it. Do this 4 times.

Or ring 1471 after the ringing stops and you will find out the number of who phoned.

You need to call the police & report it as a malicious call. They will then investigate & the crime number will allow you to go back to your SP & get it barred.

It's probably innocent, but you need the police involved for your SP to investigate

Try withholding your own number when you dial it back. 141 before the number. Failing that, call the police, report it as a malicious call, then call your service provider to have the number blocked.
