1. If an opponent captures my Goblin Gardener with Biting Tether, when the tether kills the Goblin, I assume it goes to my graveyard? Who gets to choose where it's ability (on death, destroy target land) is targeted, myself? or my opponent?

2. Cloak and Dagger is a tribal artifact, rogue equipment, does that mean it can *only* be cast on rogues? Or can only move *between* rogues once it's been cast?

3. If a creature has the ability to untap a target creature, can I use that ability to untap a creature that's already attacked, allowing it to attack twice?

4. If a creature has the ability to tap a target creature, can it tap a creature with vigilence?

5. Brigid Hero of Kinsbaile's tap ability allows her to deal 2 damage to attacking creatures. Is that an instant? Or do I have to declare on my own turn before an opponent attacks that I'll be doing that? If an opponent attacks me, can I then tap her?

6. If Oblivion ring removes a champion, do I get the championed creature back?

  1. 1.) The controller of the ability always chooses what the ability does.  If the Gardener is in your opponent's control, even though it goes into your graveyard, he will get the choice.

2.) Tribal spells can work anytime and is not subjected to being only stuck to tribal decks.  The big thing about tribal decks is there are cards that search for "rogue", "goblin", etc cards.  This now means that you are free to search for more than just creatures.  You can grab enchantments, artifacts, instances, etc. with them.  So, just because it is a rogue artifact, it can be used in any other deck.

3.) A creature is only allowed to attack once, unless something says that it can attack twice.  It can be used to untap it but it will not be able to attack again.  Also, if it is attacking and you untap it, it will still be attacking even though it's untapped.

4.) Vigilance is only a keyword that means "this creature does not tap to attack."  It can be tapped by other means.  You can tap it before the combat phase to stop it from attacking.

5.) The ability is kinda like an instant but it technically isn't.  When your opponent attacks you, you can tap her and deal 2 damage to the attacking creatures.  You can also block with her and then use the ability to kill off that pesky creature that's attacking you.

6.) Yes.  Champion a creature states that "When this leaves play, that card returns to play."  So, the O-Ring would vorce the creature to leave play, bringing back the creature that was Championed.  Once the O-Ring goes away, the creature comes back and must champion a creature again or be sacrificed.
