  1. 1)   square root of 121 is 11.  11 - 5 = 6

    2)  x^2 - 2x + 1 = 0

    3)  Not sure what you're asking.

  2. (x+5)^2 = 121

    x^2 + 10x + 25 = 121

    x^2 + 10x -96 =

    (x-6)(x+16) =0

    x = 6

    2. write a quadratic in the variable x having given numbers as solutions type the equation ax^2+bc+c=0 solution:1, only solution

    x^2 + 4x +4 = 0

    1 solution, x = -2

    3. rewrite with rational exponent 3(20)

    15(2^2)

  3. 1.     sqrt of 121 is 11   so    11-5 is 6

    6

  4. 1. (x+5)^2=121. Work out what x is

    And as for 2 and 3, I'm not sure what you mean
