Some of the glucose required for cellular respiration in plants is obtained by ingesting cellulose?true/false?

  2. Plants can't ingest anything...

  3. False.  Plants manufacture cellulose (part of their cell walls) from glucose.  But the only carbon they take in (to make glucose which is broken down during cellular respiration) is carbon dioxide.  Plants don't eat anything.
