Some one exspain to me the difference between Train tickets?

There is

Standard open Return - kinda obivous theres no deadline to return on the train

saver return (standard) - ??

First Saver return - ??

and i cant think of more

but if u could exsplain more cheers

  1. The main difference between Standard and Saver tickets is that the latter have restrictions on the time of travel - i.e. they cannot be used in the rush hour


  2. This is a complex question but, thanks to the wonders of the internet you can get the answers on www.thetrainline.com for all the tickets of your journey, no errors. Simply put in a sample joutrney and when you reach the trip details you can see the ticket types below. CLick on each you wish to and see the restrictions. This is the best way as some e.g. First tickets are company-specific and listing all the ones I use will be only 1/2 useful to you...

    It also lists available tickets. However I have found that you can occasionally get a saver return on a great western train on their own website but not on the same train advertised elsewhere.. so worth checking on the company running the train's own site when and where you know this
