Some one stole my bike. what should i do? flyers?

any way of finding the theif? i bet he lives across the street from me. i didnt see anyone take my bike but saw a few ppl walk by

  1. Probably kiss it good bye. 9 out of 10 stolen bikes are never seen again.

    Buy a onguard bike lock.They're great.


  2. post an ad on pinkbike.com to get locals to look out for it.

  3. Flyer's, sure but you can also check with your local police dept and give then the serial number of your bike. Many police depts have a basement full of stolen bikes!

  5. Make a flyer with a pretty solid descroption of it and its components. Other cyclists will keep their eyes peeled. take a copy to local bike shops and pawn shops that may buy or resell a bike like that. Keep an eye on craigslist anywhere within about 200 miles of you, look on ebay for parts of it (if it was a nice bike), look around local dumpsters. alot of thiefs ditch it after they realize its too "hot" to ride publicly.
