Read through what you need to learn, making notes as you go. Put away your notes and draw a mind map of all the stuff you made notes on. Check back to see what you missed and re-read that particular section.  Do another mind map and keep going until you can do it perfectly.  Keep the mind maps with your notes to use as revision.  Don't do more than half an hour at a time without a break of at least ten minutes. When you have a break, do something totally different from studying.

I found a good way to study is to record the lessson or thing that you wish to learn and play it out, listen to it and hear it a few times before bed. Then go to sleep-As sleep helps our memories increase after learning.

You can also try to  write out the word or sentence you want to learn a few times while saying it outloud.

I left School unable to read or write in 1965, Dyslexic then not known and I was regarded as being backward but now look I am an Author with a book out on most book site like Amazon, because I used my computer with a spell checker and a grammar correction to write it, bit by bit, I started off witting but kept what I wrote on file in my documents on my computer, I used Microsoft Word, then I put what I wrote together and then added more on until I finally got a full book, then I found publishers who spent money to do it up and they called my book that is more about my life than Internet,

try to understand the stuff and try to make it fun with mnemonics! dont just learn it, know it and always try to think about it analytically. and you have actually want to learn to be successful at it. try to learn with a friend. also, try to focus and remember practice makes prefect. try to do some repetitions-it's boring but really helps! :)
