Some people prefer to confide in their friends rather than family.Why?

Some people are closer to their friends, especially people at school. They spend most of the day at school, then go home for a couple of hours, not really talking to their parents much, rather talking on the phone with their friends. Then on weekends they go out with their friends...kinda like their second family.

Another reason is that for some kids, the only time they communicate with their parents is when they are telling them off. They don't like it... so they trust their friends.

Yeah.
