Anastasia Nicholovena was barely 17 when her father abdocated.  She was just out of the 'school room' and had not done anything of interest to the world.  If indeed, she died in 1918 with the rest of her  family then her short life was tragic and unfullfilled. But she still hadn't done anything notable.

IF she managed to survive the massacre of her family then she probably went deep into hiding and tried to live without attracting attention to herself.  

Anna Anderson was NOT Anastasia, different DNA, though her life was pretty remarkable.   I don't think she ever claimed to be Anastasia, she only said it was possible because she did not remember her past. Other people made that claim for her.  Very likely Mrs. Anderson suffered from mental illness which made her very difficult to get on with.

anastasia as only 17 like someone else said she was murdered.  Her family spent the better part of a year being controlled by the Bolsheviks after the abdication of the throne

I'm not quite sure how you can compare someone was 17 years old when she died 89 years ago to someone nowadays unless of course you were part Romanov.  But from what I read, there is no money for them.  They all work and everything.
